Derivative Citizenship

Roma Anonymous (not verified) | 7:09 PM CST, Sat February 01, 2025
Citizenship conveyed to children through the naturalization of their parents or, under certain circumstances, to foreign-born children adopted by U.S. citizen parents, provided certain conditions are met.
When one or more parents are granted asylum, they may start the process of naturalization. If successful, their children may receive derivative citizenship.
