Interpretation

“Serenity and joy reigned in the hearts of the elders after witnessing the justice of Kan on earth, and they exclaimed: ‘Let us now rest, to Kame. Here is all that has been done… for the lives of our children’s children, and may it endure!’” It is a symbol of the final dissolution of all good and bad things, of death. Kame is the day above all others to forgive and ask for forgiveness for any wrong actions. It represents beginnings, harmony, vision, cleverness, and intelligence. It develops the energy of the night to bring light to another day, symbolizing rebirth to a new life after death.
