When an immigrant has already been deported, or otherwise left the United States and re-enter at a later date without having been paroled by an immigration officer or having received express authorization from the U.S. Attorney General.
Illegal re-entry in a crime where an individual may be prosecuted and incarcerated if found guilty by a judge or jury.
