Chuj is a Mayan language spoken by approximately 91,391 members of the Chuj community primarily in Guatemala but also present in Mexico and the US. Chuj speakers primarily reside in the municipalities of San Mateo Ixtatan, San Sebastian Coatan and Nenton in the Huehuetenango department.
